H1N1 Influenza(Swine Flu) is PANDEMIC????

H1N1 Influenza is striking the world and the WHO declares it is PANDEMIC,it is the first global spreading flu in 41 years.Since this has been first detected in Mexico many researchers suggested that this is just a spreading disease but not a dangerous one.But it has reached about 79 countries including India and affected nearly 29000 people all over the world.So far nearly 150 people died because of this influenza.Is that curable? Yes it can be and many pharmaceutical companies are making vaccines and it may come to stores by this month end or next month.There are some drugs recommended by Centres for Disease control and prevention to cure Swine Flu.They are Tamiflu and Relenza.

What are the symptoms that one can get Swine Flu???

• fever, which is usually high, but unlike seasonal flu, is sometimes absent
• cough
• runny nose or stuffy nose
• sore throat
• body aches
• headache
• chills
• fatigue or tiredness, which can be extreme
• diarrhea and vomiting, sometimes, but more commonly seen than with seasonal fl.

There are some serious symptoms with which you can consult the doctor immediately is:

• Fast breathing or trouble breathing
• Bluish or gray skin color
• Not drinking enough fluids
• Severe or persistent vomiting
• Not waking up or not interacting
• Being so irritable that the child does not want to be held
• Flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough

So guys if you got any of these symptoms,you can better consult your family doctor and take medications as you know from the news that India has got about 12 cases affected with this pandemic disease.South Indians from Coimbatore,Hyderabad are affected by this.So be careful about the disease and Keep you Healthy.
